Motorcycle medical training and road safety funding

Riders are often first on scene before professional responders arrive. The foundation funds approved medical-response training and works with organizations addressing road hazards that create serious risks for motorcyclists.

Application process

  1. Choose the grant category.Select the program that best matches the expense.
  2. Describe the request.Explain what happened, the amount requested, and how funds would be used.
  3. Board review.The board reviews the request and may ask for supporting information.
  4. Email follow-up.The foundation contacts the applicant about the decision or next step.

Class participants may apply for certification reimbursement through the grant form.

Organizations can contact the foundation about hosting, sponsoring, or funding a class or road-safety project.

Can riders receive funding for CPR or first aid certification?

Yes. Riders may apply for help with approved CPR, first aid, Stop the Bleed, or trauma-response certification.

Can a training organization host a class with the foundation?

Yes. Qualified instructors and class hosts can propose a partnership, sponsored class, or reimbursement program through the organizations page.

What motorcycle road-safety work does the foundation support?

Potential work includes road studies, hazard identification, pothole and debris reporting, dangerous barrier advocacy, and other rider-focused safety projects.
